captain marvel film review

The film is written and directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, while Meg LeFauve, Nicole Perlman, Geneva Robertson-Dworet, Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch also contributed to the script. Brie Larson stars in the title role, along with Jude Law, Ben Mendelsohn, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Lee Pace, Clark Gregg, Annette Bening and Samuel L. Jackson. Set in the 1990s, the story follows Carol Danvers, a pilot in the United States Air Force, who becomes Captain Marvel after the Earth is trapped in the center of an intergalactic conflict between two alien races.

I went to the cinema with high expectations of this movie but it did not satisfy me
the movie has good scenes of action but nothing that we have not seen before
the action scenes happen very quickly with quick camera movements so you can not appreciate the action scenes
the performance of larson is not very convincing there are scenes where you see very fake expressions of the face
I thought that there was going to be a great alien war and none of this happened
in my opinion this movie was made to introduce the character to what is coming in avengers endgame
I give this movie three stars out of five
