I saw Tully twice. After my first screening, I wasn’t sure what to think of the ending. The second time, I was convinced of the film’s brilliance. - Slate (Inkoo Kang)
I think it's the best film by Jason Reitman since ''Up in the Air'' although I must say that it's not really an improvement or that this film represents some kind of evolutionary change for the director. - JLuis_001
"Tully" has its heart (and many other things) in the right place, but by the end you wish it had an imagination finely executed enough to match its empathy. - Owen Gleiberman (Variety)
It’s a marvellous movie about the lies we tell ourselves to stay sane—and the reasons why we might need to tell the truth. - The Guardian (Amy Nicholson)
A heartbreakingly sublime journey into motherhood, Theron is superb as a woman dealing with the birth of her third child, and the subsequent effects on her physical and mental health. At times funny, and searingly honest, this is a phenomenal film that is visually and themically sophisticated, with beautiful cinematography, stylised editing, and a brilliantly sharp script. A fantastic film well worth your time. 9.89/10. - Jess_Hill
