I knew you attempted to have an impact too. But now, you know better. Don’t you? You knew, it didn’t change anything because it’s all been done and it only made a day in your life better and not the world. But Elliot has a plan. The question is, are you in it or are you one of them too?

Hi guys!

That artwork and intro was inspired by one of my favorite series, Mr. Robot directed by Sam Esmail. It’s been a while since I was hooked onto the chaotic world of fsociety and ECorp so I decided to make a review of it. Please know that I’m really impressed with sci-fi and movies that involves anything about computers and hacking because to me it’s just too much skill and talent, more so with the production who could make me believe that it’s all true so this might sound like a summary but I’ll try to put my judgment less bias as much as possible. (Haha)

If you haven’t watched it yet, there are spoilers ahead.

Mr. Robot revolves around the world of Elliot Alderson, a technology genius who is in conflict with himself which made him socially reserved yet drove him to start his own revolution against huge conglomerates. The series’ character development, sequence, plot twist, musical scoring and camera angles are so effective and that even if you’re bombarded with IT jargon, it’s the least you’d care about. And of course, I vouch there’d be no one better for the lead role than Rami Malik.

Season 1

From the beginning, the film will make you believe that you know everything. Elliot’s gonna break the fourth wall and call you his “friend,” a comrade he made in his mind, who has full privilege to know what he feels and thinks about himself, others and the society. He will treat you as a VIP in the front seat of his mind only to be betrayed by his memory. He’ll accuse you of being a traitor. He will be shook and so will you.

After finishing this season and knowing the plot twist, you will be bewildered. But if you’ll watch it from the beginning with fresh eyes, you’ll understand why some characters are acting weird from the start and it’ll all make sense. This is Mr. Robot’s best season.

Season 2

Remember that Elliot thought you betrayed him. He will betray you in this one on purpose. He will make you believe what he wants to. Though everything was true, he will hold back a very important information from you which will make you question a lot in the film—why is he there to begin with. The moment you knew you’ve been fooled, you’ll suggestively utter, “not again!” On the bright side, his identity-crisis will now be clearer. You will fully understand that he has two personalities but he has no control of the other. Some characters will be missing, some will evolve and a lot will die and all to give way for the next stage of Mr. Robot’s revolution.

I’d have to say that this season is a transition of 1 and 3. Well, literally yes, but this actually focused on establishing Elliot’s character and other characters rather than the “hacking and changing the world” part. This is not as exciting as the first season but this stitch will clarify everything that’s gonna happen next.
Oh, and I personally ship Elliot and Angela Moss (Portia Doubleday) but like me, don’t keep your hopes up. The film has no intention of developing love interests. You can’t trust anyone. (Haha).

Season 3

This time, you and Elliot will be fooled by other characters. You have the right to doubt the loyalty of everyone but as audience, you will understand what drives them to do what they do. You’ll throw your hands off the story and will stand as a third person like you’ve always been. You’ll begin to feel a deep sense of pity for the characters you first hated and vaguely be able to pinpoint the true villains because you have no idea about the whole plan. You won’t know who to believe, not even Elliot. Dominique Dipierro, the FBI agent whom the only “cop” you knew is doing the right thing in this case will lose her power—integrity.

Among the seasons, this is honestly the most intense. Elliot and Angela slayed their most crucial moments in the series though it has no boggling plot twist like the first two. When the revelations in the end part were unveiled, it has lost its power to amuse me. I could even say that it was “trying hard” because it attempted to break the established plot from the first two seasons which I think is unnecessary and poorly thought unless they could pull it off on the fourth season.

Nonetheless, I am excited for its next season. I saw the trailer which showed that Elliot’s gonna fight against vampire hackers. It really sounds so fictional but Elliot has my loyalty or does he? Because Ram Malik’s about to be Queen in his new movie Bohemian Rhapsody. I don't know what to believe anymore. Haha!

Conclusion and it's 10/11

All I can say is that I can't wait for the season 4 to come out. This tv show always gives me a headache. Mind boggling in a good way. That's why I decided to make a fan art, a sign of dedication for series and also the craft of the whole crew. It shows me a short glance in filmmaking to try break the rules in a creative way. It inspires me to give some positive things or stories on a different approach. So, I highly recommend to you guys to watch Mr.Robot.
