FilmFriday: 10 Cloverfield Lane - Dort unten hört dich niemand schreien / Down there nobody hears you scream (Also in English)

ein neuer Beitrag zu dem #FilmFriday, initiiert durch #javehimself. Mein heutiger Beitrag handelt von dem 2016 erschienenen Thriller 10 Cloverfield Lane. Neben einer wirklich sehr gut spielenden Mary Elizabeth Winstead, die vor allem durch die Filme Stirb Langsam 4.0 und Scott Pilgrim Bekanntheit erlangt hat, besticht John Goodman hier in einer sehr ernsten Rolle die ihm schon fast wie auf den Leib geschrieben ist. In diesem Film geht es wie der Name schon sagt um ein Haus an der im Titel aufgeführten Adresse, allerdings sind die Umstände mit denen die Hauptfigur dort ankommt äußerst fragwürdig und dies lässt der Film den Zuschauer auch jederzeit spüren. Was ist real, wer sagt die wahrheit und welche Gedanken die man sich während des Films macht darf man trauen. Eine lange Zeit im Film ertappt man sich immer wieder zu denken das es sich um eine bereits bekannte Story handelt, die so schon in allen möglichen Szenarien vorgekommen ist, aber lasst euch nicht täuschen es steckt mehr dahinter. Der Film zeigt das ein entsprechendes Setting und gute Schauspieler keine großen spezial Effekte benötigt und gute Kino zu liefern. Ein wirklich gute Story die einiges an Überraschungen bereit hält und abweicht von dem standart Thriller Genre das man sonst so kennt. Ich wünsche euch viel Spass bei diesem psycho Spektakel der anderen Art.
Regisseur
Im Filmposter wird J.J.Abrams angepriesen aber mehr als seine Productions Firma Bad Robot Productions hat er nicht mit dem Film zu tun, nur so am Rande. Aber Dan Trachtenberg der noch nicht wirklich bekannt ist als Regisseur, hat hier wirklich sehr gute Arbeit geleistet. Es schafft es eine beklemmende und wirre Situation zu erzeugen die auch im Punkt der Auflösung weiterhin überraschend wirkt und somit einen sehr guten Film geschaffen der einfach mal anders ist. Hoffentlich kommt noch mehr von ihm in der Zukunft. Es hat ja auch bereits an einer Black Mirror Folge den Regisseur gespielt. Und diese Folge hat es ebenfalls geistig in sich also, warten wir was da noch kommt.
Mein Tipp
Dieser Film ist intensiv und eindringlich was auch heißt eine ruhige Umgebung ist gefragt um das Erlebnis des Films noch zu intensivieren. Die Story enthält keine Pause im spannungsaufbau, also versucht auch selbst keine Pause zu machen.
Plot (Spoilerfrei)
Die junge Michelle erwacht nach einem, doch mysteriösen Autounfall, angekettet in einem Bunker. Ein unbekannter der sich als Howard vorstellt bringt Ihr Essen und erklärt ihr das die vereinigten Staaten von Unbekannten mit Atomwaffen oder anderen Kriegswaffen angegriffen wurden, er Sie gerettet hat und Sie sicher in seinem Bunker sind der sich auf der Cloverfield Lane 10 befindet. Ein junger Arbeiter, Emmet der beim Bau des Bunkers geholfen hat ist ebenfalls im inneren. Howard erzählt auch das die Luft außerhalb des Bunkers vergiftet ist und sich nicht atmen lässt, aber Michelle kann das nicht ganz glauben und versucht nach kurzer Zeit zu flüchten. Auf dem Weg nach draußen wird Sie in der Luftschleuse davon überzeugt das es tatsächlich gefährlich ist außerhalb des Bunkers. Ein Leben auf engstem Raum beginnt. Aber ist es im Bunker wirklich sicher oder hat Howard doch etwas finsteres zu verbergen. Findet es heraus.

Der Film hatte Produktionskosten von 15 Mio. US-Dollar und hat dafür 110 Mio. US-Dollar eingespielt was dann doch einiges an Gewinn abwirft. Bradley Cooper hatte im Film einen Cameo-Auftritt, achtet mal drauf wer er im Film ist und schreibt es mir in die Kommentare, der erste der die richtige Antwort gibt bekommt 0.5 SBD, viel Spass dabei!

a new contribution to the #FilmFriday, initiated by #javehimself. My contribution today is about the 2016 thriller 10 Cloverfield Lane. Besides a really very well playing Mary Elizabeth Winstead, which gained fame mainly through the movies Die Hard 4.0 and Scott Pilgrim,John Goodman captivates here in a very serious role which is almost written on his body. As the name suggests, this film is about a house at the address listed in the title, but the circumstances in which the main character arrives there are extremely questionable and the film makes the viewer feel this at all times. What is real, who says the truth and what thoughts you can have during the movie. For a long time in the movie you always find yourself thinking that this is an already known story, which has already appeared in all possible scenarios, but don't be fooled, there is more behind it. The movie shows that an appropriate setting and good actors do not need big special effects and to deliver good cinema. A really good story that has some surprises in store and differs from the standard thriller genre that you otherwise know. I wish you a lot of fun with this psycho spectacle of the other kind.
Director
In the movie poster J.J.Abrams is praised more than his production company Bad Robot Productions, however, he has nothing to do with the film, just on the fringes. Dan Trachtenberg who is not really known as a director, did a really good job here. It manages to create an oppressive and confusing situation that continues to have a surprising effect even at the point of resolution and thus creates a very good film that is simply different. Hopefully more of him will come in the future. It already played the director on a Black Mirror episode. And this episode also has it in it spiritually, so let's wait what's to come.
A tip
This film is intense and haunting, which also means a quiet environment is required to intensify the experience of the film. The story does not contain a pause in the tension build-up, so try not to take a pause yourself.
Plot (spoiler free)
The young Michelle wakes up after a mysterious car accident, chained in a bunker. An unknown person who introduces himself as Howard brings her food and tells her that the United States has been attacked by strangers with nuclear weapons or other war weapons, he has saved you and you are safely in his bunker which is located on Cloverfield Lane 10. A young worker, Emmet, who helped build the bunker, is also inside. Howard also says that the air outside the bunker is poisoned and can't breathe, but Michelle can't quite believe it and tries to escape after a short time. On the way out, she is convinced in the airlock that it is actually dangerous outside the bunker. A life in a confined space begins. But is it really safe in the bunker or does Howard have something dark to hide? Find out.
