What the hell are orbs?

In some instances, they are dust motes illuminated by the light of the camera. Others are little insects flying by that unintentionally captured by the camera. In my particular case these are not the answers to my question of What the Hell are Orbs?

My entire life I have been exposed to bizarre events and phenomenon that happen to me and occasionally, those around me. Far too many and too diverse to go into here so I am just going to discuss the orbs that have come into my life as of late.

The orbs situation began sometime last summer as I lay on the couch watching a little TV. It was early evening and the sun was hours from setting.

As I lay on the couch I saw this glowing ball of light, about the size of a walnut, come through the closed front. I watched as it crossed about 6 feet of floor and small flight of stair to the sunken living room. The ball of light is about 20 inches off the floor and slowly moving into the room.

As soon as it is directly in front of my face it does a 90 degree turn and flies straight at my face so quickly that I flinched as I try to back away as far as the couch would let me. The ball of light stop about 2 inches from my face and does another 90 degree turn and proceeds to slowly travel the length of my body. Once it gets to my feet the ball of light changes speed and passes through the wall and out of the house.

Fast forward a few months to mid October 2016. I was sitting at my computer; the house was quiet as I had been working for a few hours. I no sooner closed off whatever programs I had been using when I had this overwhelming compulsion to start video taping the far corner of the living room.

I turn on the camera and was soon rewarded with a single orb lifting off the floor to rise about 4 ½ feet and arc towards me and my camera. Fascinated, I tried a few more times and was able to capture them in various lighting conditions from dark of night to full light of day. I tried several different locations throughout the house and was able to video tape them everywhere upon occasion.

It is important to note that there have been times when none are present. They do not seem to like it when the cats are in the room however, the cats spend a lot of time fixated with orb hotspots. Specific areas of the walls were these orbs seem to come out of.

But of all the rooms the one room that produces the most orbs is my bedroom. I recall one evening I ran the camera for a solid ten minutes and captured hundreds of these orbs flying about. As for the cats, they spend very little time in my room. When they do come in they often just sit and stare up into this one corner. It freaks people out let me tell you.

The video I have to share with you is a short clip of some of the activity. Unfortunately, due to youtube compression, some of the clarity is lost and a few of the smaller ones are mostly lost. I can assure you though that there are still enough of the brighter ones to make you question what these things are.

They are not dust motes as I always let the room settle before I begin filming. The window is not open so there is no air movement caused by any kind of a wind. They are not bugs as I live in Canada and during the colder months there are not a lot of flying insects about.

Finally, I am off camera to the left. In this particular video, a lot of these things are flying in my direction. That is not always the case. Got an opinion? Sound off below.
