RE: Indiana Jones and the Temle of Doom (film): a shocking film for its time
I loved this movie as a kid. It's definitely the weakest of the Indiana Jones Trilogy (there are only 3, in case you didn't know) but it still pleased me quite a bit. Lol... I remember once when I was working a haunted-house, I convinced some of the cast members to yell the Moloram-Sudoram chant at one point.
This was shortly before I began screaming in R'lyehian while they walked down the hall. Blew out my vocal chords for 2 days, but damn was it a great show.
what a fantastic follow-up. You clearly knew this film better than me. I just remember reciting the lines such as "sounds like fortune cookies" anytime anything made a crackling sound anywhere.
The opening of the movie is brilliant right up to the point where they jump out of the plane in a blow up raft and safely land. I always love the start of this movie it captures Indiana Jones character fondly but after they jump out in the raft it loses some magic of Indiana Jones it sort of becomes wtf !! - it does recapture Indiana Jones spirit in other parts of the movie but not enough.
