One of the biggest obstacles people find when it comes to accessing financial services today is believed to be lack of having credit history(credit identity) which has left many people unbanked. And from the latest UN statistics its estimated that there are about 2.5 billion unbanked people in the world that cant access financial services from a bank as they might not have any formal credit history which forces them to use informal methods like getting financing from friends and family or loan sharks even in cases of emergencies which also leaves them paying high interest rates.
