Hello Dear Steemit Friends ! Today I would like to present you Vasily Grigorevich Perov ( 1833 – 1882 ) , a Russian artist, leading genre painter of the Peredvizhniki group. A key figure of the Russian Realist movement, his paintings reflect his commitment to political and social reform in Russia ; they treat scenes of daily life, emphasizing the sufferings of the people.
