Yes, I have believed this to be true all of my life. Next thing I knew I was studying to become a citizen with a decent job. Art is something fun you can do on the side of your real job. Right?

Looking back. Christmas eve at my ex boyfriends house when time for the christmas gifts to be opened. I get mine and immediately I react before even knowing what it was, my body reacted. It was a gift related to art. It was from my ex boyfriends parents. Tears are rolling down my cheeks. Because I realized that they had remembered that night in Spain at this restaurant. The topic was: if you could work with anything you wanted, what would it be? And my answer was an artist 🎨. The amount of love and support I felt at that time was incredible.
It helped me get back to something I had buried so deep down I didn't even realize it.

Thankfully and surprisingly somehow I found back to my creativity and it's as if I have found a part of me which I had forgotten about. A spark, an language I used to know in the past. This time thanks to another gift from my lovely fiance.

I'm a self taught artist with no formal education in this area and still very insecure about my art. What would really help me is if you please can critique my work, since I'm working on getting better.
