Day out fishing

In the UK today's weather was perfect it was sunny but cool at the same time. I and my fishing buddy decided to go for a spinning trip on one of our favour lakes. The target species was pike!

My Friend was 1st to land one just after 15 minutes of spinning it was very nice pike around 5 pounds, unfortunately, it was badly hooked and we spend a lot of time unhooking him, as soon as we fished unhooking him we put him straight back to water to so he can recover and swim way.

Another Pike was also landed by my friend after around 30 minutes of the 1st one (lucky!) this time it was easier to unhook it and we had a chance to take a photo, it was very slim one, but it looked very healthy and it fought well.

3rd pike was also cough by my friend (Grrr!) this time it took around 2 hours from last fish, my friend cast new bait very far away and hook a Pike after 1st cast!

After 4 hours of fishing, my Friend landed 3 nice Pike and I still didn't have any bite, nothing will even strike my lure. I also cut my finger on the line and it was very difficult to cast. I was sad and just wanted to go home, but I decided to do few more cast before packing. I change to my favour lure and cast it as far as I could. BANG I saw huge jaw coming out of the water after my lure. I was hooked ! took around 10 minutes to get him to the bank. We unhook it and measure him, he was 12 pounds!

It was super fun day, everyone should try pike fishing !
