Loverboy, Homer Simpson and Me...At The Gym
Given work commitments I had to pass on my normal Friday session at the gym and delay until Saturday, yesterday. It's not the ideal way to start the weekend in my book, but who's complaining?? :)
Anyway, the numbers...
squat - 10x45 5x95 5x115 3x125 3x135 3x145 3x155 2x5x165 5x167.5 5x145
This not a new mark, but there was a slight improvement from the last session. My form was pretty good, but each rep I just have to keep my focus on my technique. I will definitely use a weight belt for my 3 heavy sets. It makes a difference since it helps me brace my midsection before each rep.
overhead press - 10x45 3x95 2x105 1x115 3x5x120
This is a new mark. I use a weight belt for the heavy sets too.
weighted pull ups - 3x5x33.13
Also a new mark.
barbell walking lunges - - 3x16x100
Nothing new here, but it's still a real gasser nonetheless.
