To fill the molds, first close with bodybuilding tape the open part of the side of the mold and anoint the entire interior of the mold with oil, especially the corners of the base, if we do not, the concrete is stuck to the mold and not it could be removed.
We make the concrete mix (three parts of congrave sand for one of cement) not very liquid so that the handle does not penetrate too much and we fill the concrete mold.
We introduce the handle to the tape mark, well centered and leveled, and let it set for five days approx.
After this time, remove the mold removing the tape and giving small blows to the flaps and the edge of the mold, very carefully because the concrete is not fully set and can break.
We will follow the same process with the other part of the dumbbell, but being more careful not to sink the bar too much into the concrete, because of the weight of the finished part.
The concrete takes about three weeks to fully set. Do not leave them in the sun. The concrete is harder if they forge a fresh environment. At this point the dumbbells are ready to be used. The other arrangements are more aesthetic.
Use engraved or chopped bricks, that will help to not crack or break the cement, is the most important. Never leave the sun to dry, because it dries faster but the cement is much but much more devilish and it remains in a white color. Leave it in one place even if it takes several days to dry.
Let the cement be the same amount as the sand to be even harder.
If you are skinny and you never exercised you weigh less than 15 kilos, a pair of 5 and 10 kilos is fine to start.
Do not use very thin or devile pipes, which are twice as thick as a broomstick.
