RE: Running is Idiotic: If anyone goes out at a suicidal pace, I'll probably sit back

Great post! Agree, lets shape this site and make it a community. Love it. Love sharing health and fitness inspiration! Keep up the running, it gets easier and then you start liking it. I use to hate running then I started really enjoying it. It was my time to think, reflect and escape reality for a while. Way to go on your 5K and TRI. I use to run, do tris and now I am completely obsessed with surfing and challenging myself to bodyweight workouts. I usually am making myself learn new things. ie. was running, marathon, triathlon, taught myself to swim, now surfing. Keep up the fit adventure and posting! - J

That sounds awesome @liljodel I've never surfed but am interested. Do you recommend any home balance boards that would simulate it? I'm more than a day's drive away from the nearest wave. I have been paddleboarding on the lake but it has been fairly straightforward. Yoga was a fun challenge atop it.

Let me know if you have any good healthy recipes too. I eat a paleo-can't-win-them-all-Thai-Indian-Croatian-mish-mash but was raised on shepherd's pie and lemon bars. ;)

Great getting to know you. I look forward to this adventure in Steemit land together.

I have an indo board that is great for balance training and workouts. I use it to do push ups on, squats on, lunges, deadlifts, sky is the limit. Great to have at home. Then you can add weights too! Paddle boarding is great! Getting in the water in general is refreshing, centering, and a great way to exercise. I don't categorize myself but some may say I am paleo ;) Sounds like we have lot in common! Even steeming ;) #steemit
