Fitness of Action Star Actors – How They get in Shape

in #fitness7 years ago (edited)

Can you expect to look like actors in movies these days? Make the transformations that they do?

According to them, they are on regimented diet and training schedule, often include 6-12 meals a day, 4000- 7000 calories per day during bulk up, clean diet of chicken and fish, brown rice, broccoli and cauliflower, no sugar, generally low carbs. Some may be utilizing some form of fasting. Eating is said to be the hardest part.
Workout 3- 6 days a week about 2 hours, often heavy compound movements.
These guys have to be motivated and disciplined, and this intensity is usually for 3-6 months.

How actors get in shape for movies compilation:

But also remember reality folks, many of these actors have the best personal trainers and dietitians to plan their every workout and meal to exacting degree. They get pumped up working out, before and during the shoot. Dehydration is sometimes involved. Also the cameras, angles and lighting are perfect for the shots you see, which are probably further doctored by computer software. Finally, there is no telling what kind of drugs or enhancing supplements some of them might be on.

Take care of yourself, work to improve your condition, health, and strength. Make long-term lifestyle changes. Work hard to do the most with what you have for yourself and your family. Look good and feel good for your spouse.

Great post dear friend :) I really liked it.

Those are some massive muscles some of these men have. I wonder if the female version is quite as intense. Eating 12 meals a day while also including a fasting period would be difficult. Unless candy corn counts. Good post - thankfully neither of us have to be in a movie and get ourselves into this kind of shape any time soon. ;) Ha. Happy wife, happy life.

It is crazy how much they have to work out right before certain scenes!
Great Post!

Christian Bale really went overboard in the Machinist. If you haven’t seen it, you should rent it. He looks like he’s 100 pounds in that film.
