Carnivore 75 Hard Redux: Day 37

Today, I made it through an entire day of fasting. That's mostly because I came home from work, put a flank steak in the Cinder grill, and then went to the supermarket. The Cinder grill makes making a steak extremely convenient. It was set to cook the flank steak until it reached an internal temperature of 129ºF. When it got to that temperature, the Cinder kept it there while I made some bacon in the oven and some eggs and ground beef on the stove.

Wait, didn't I say I was having a steak? Well, I had some ground beef as well. Why? Because I felt like it, and I was hungry to that extent. When you only eat once a day, you can sometimes be hungry for a lot of food. Someone on Twitter asked me last night how many calories most of my meals are when I do OMAD, so I decided to plug this one into Cronometer. It was right around 2800 calories. Shit, some people get nearly that many calories in just one meal at Chipotle if they get a super-big-ass soft drink and chips and cheese or guacamole or something.

Mindset

Wow, what a streak! This is the third day in a row that my "supportive" material for the day is related to Paul Saladino, MD. Most likely, the fact that his book The Carnivore Code just came out is probably why he's been making the rounds on other platforms so much lately. This is an upload of a live conversation he had with the community over at MeatRx. Some people clearly get a lot out of being members of that site, but I've joined and quit it twice now. The meetings didn't appeal to me much and the rest of the site just didn't seem worth paying a subscription fee for. No disrespect to the creators and moderators of that site, though. Check it out if online meetings with likeminded people are something you'd be interested in or if you think you might benefit from some coaching.

Movement

Well, I got in a couple thousand more steps today than the last couple of days. That's good! I was starting to feel a little lazy just doing the bare minimum every day. As always, you can read more about it by clicking on the image below and being transported to my daily Actifit post.
