3) Eat slower
There are many benefits to eating slower such as better hydration and digestion. It can take your brain up to 20 minutes to recognize the fact that you are full and therefore you could carry on eating without there been a need for it. Slower eating can therefore help you in consuming less calories.
4) Weight yourself daily
Keeping an eye on your weight will help you notice small changes and react to them. The best time to step on the scale is in the morning just before breakfast. It is also useful to keep a journal of your weight.
5) Try to avoid eating white bread
White bread has refined carbohydrates and has little nutritional value. It is low in fiber and is digested very quickly causing your blood sugar levels to rise rapidly. Try to avoid white bread and go for alternatives such as 100% whole grain breads.
