I know it is comical that they think these childish tactics will work. Though I don't recall right off when day 1 started or the announcement of 100 days, as they play the asskissing game, they are spending a good deal of time that has produced very little results.
Dunno how many hours they are putting into that 100 days thing, but it would have been better to have done a burning buyback-and never said a word and leave the market to speculate. Heck, they could have done that with a tiny portion of the stolen steem they obtained. The more they spend their capital reserves and producing no results, the more impotent they prove themselves to appear to anyone that is paying attention-and the greater likelihood they will have to dump some kind of crypto assets to keep paying payroll in the future while producing no benefit.
I can't imagine Justin Sun will want to sink too much more into this. He either needs to enter into the Chinese market ASAP, or let steem chain exist without steemit and bail. The present marketing is clearly asskissing to their own community, but it is also trying to get engagement-They are getting engagement but not the kind they want the world to see. Ironically, they aren't trying to reach out for new customers even when most of the world has nothing better to do than to sit down at the pc, and consider to sell the dollar for something else-like crypto. All that delegated SP up for grabs, and the same 5-7 asskissers. If there was an investor observer, the first thing they would observe is a lack of interest and that the community has been shattered beyond repair.
I can't wait for the former cryptowhales to sue Steemit and tron-even if just in equity. Just more attorney fees and more burning of any liquid assets. Not to mention, I think a Judge would scold steemit and tron severely. If it is filed in SF, a wise judge would recommend a prosecution against the criminals behind steemit and tron. But expecting a wise judge out any jurisdiction in the 9th circuit area is unexpected.
I think the future of steem is china or bust. I wonder if steem, like Tron, also stole taxpayer money also to pay their employees.
