Florida School Shooting - Hero Blames Sheriff And Superintendent
The young student Anthony Borges has criticized both the Sheriff and Superintendent for not protecting victims of the attack back in February. It was read by in a statement by Anthony's attorney and his father stated "he appreciates that people consider his son a hero for protecting classmates, he believes such talk detracts from the serious message that action must be taken to stop school shootings."
Shootings in schools in America seem to occur each year and need looking into further. Apparently over a dozen calls were received concerning the 19 year old Cruz. He spent time in schools for children who have disciplinary issues and yet he was still allowed back. Apparently calls had been received at the FBI stating he could become a school shooter and they failed to take action.
The young student released a statement read by his attorney, Runcie and Israel "failed us students, teachers and parents alike on so many levels. "I want all of us to move forward to end the environment that allowed people like Nikolas Cruz to fall through the cracks. You knew he was a problem years ago and you did nothing. He should have never been in school with us."
