Celosia
Bunga celosia merupakan bunga yang masih berkerabat dekat dengan tanaman bayam, Amaranthaceae. Nama genusnya sendiri berasal dari kata Yunani Kuno “keleos” yang artinya terbakar, mengacu pada bentuk kepala bunganya menyerupai api. Dikenal pula sebagai tanaman jengger ayam karena bentuknya memang menyerupai jengger ayam berwarna merah.
