Here Is What You Should Do When Grilling Chicken At It's Best!

Lets have your griller grilling delicious food and emitting that smoky delicious aroma of some tasty barbecue grilling in your back yard. It would probably make your neighbors want to invite themselves over to your place for diner. 

One of the best place to set your grill and have a wonderful glass of wine would definitely be by the beach, grilling some tender beef, sipping some red wine and moving those hips to very cool music. Speaking of music, what is your ideal music to play on the beach? That for me would depend on the mood I am in and the mood I will like to remain in.   Some people prefer to listen to salsa or reggae on the beach since it could really lift the spirit. Don't you just want to pack up your bags and set out for the beach? But before you go, lemme give you some ideas for your marinades.

When preparing food for grilling, the marinade should be done overnight or at least 8 hours before setting it to grill. Grilling is always better than frying, in cat it is the best way to avoid cholesterol. I will be sharing my marinade recipe, that will make your grilling activity so worthwhile.

This recipe that I will be sharing with you has been perfected to give a balance of sweet and just right salty kind of taste and a very delightful  smoky flavor that is well prepared with awesome spices that will leave your chicken bursting with lot of flavor that even the chicken will want to eat itself. So my dear good steemians smile with me with a nice glass of red wine as I take you on a journey into the delicious would of chicken barbecue that will raise anyone and everyone's curiosity to want to figure out what's grilling in da hood! 

Not only are we going to enjoy sipping a great glass of wine, in fact, one of the major ingredients that would be used for making our marinade would be some dry red wine. The right and smartest thing to do is to buy a bottle of rich dry red wine, since only a little portion will be used for the recipe you can have the rest of the content to your wonderful self. 


Grilled Spicy Chicken

8 large pieces of chicken thighs or drumsticks deeply slitted

1/2 cup of red wine

1/8 cup of soy sauce

1 tbsp of thyme leaves

4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

1 medium onions finely chopped

3 cloves of garlic finely chopped

1 lime grate for its zest and squeezed for its juice

1 red  chilli seeded and chopped into tiny bits

1 tsp of cayenne pepper

1/2 tsp of all-spice

1/4 tsp of ground black pepper

3 small bay leaves


The Procedures

Step One

In a small size skillet, heat up the olive oil, and when it is heated, add in the garlic, set the the heat to medium and stir continuously until the garlic is golden brown. When the garlic is golden brown, add in the onion and stir until the onion is soft,  while stirring continuously add in the chilli, the thyme, bay leaves, soy sauce and let it cook for about 5 minutes. Then add in the red wine and the spices; the cayenne pepper, the all-spice and the black pepper let it continue to boil for another 5 minutes then remove from heat and pour the baste into a bowl. Add in the lime zest and lime juice.

You have nothing to worry about because everyone can eat this recipe, including children who love spicy food, because even tho red wine is used for the preparation of this great dish, the alcohol in the wine will evaporate once it is cooked leaving the sauce perfectly fruity and nice.

Thoroughly marinate the chicken in the baste and refrigerate for 5-8 hours before grilling the chicken! After 8 hours you can start to prepare for your trip to the beach with your marinate chicken in a small cooler. I would double or triple that recipe because you never know who will be curious to find out whats grilling! Remember to coat the chicken with the sauce while its grilling so it can be very tasty! Bon appetit!
