Why do I love cooking? Do you like it too?

in #food6 years ago (edited)

I felt in love with cooking since I was a child. It all began when my parents and my babysitter let me helped them while they were cooking; from those moments on I've been cooking for myself. Later on, when I turned 11 my parents enrolled me in a cooking summer school; it was there where I learned some things. Sadly, it last just one month.

Then, five years later, when I was 16, I started another cooking course and something happened there, I realised that to cook wasn’t that easy, it is more that put a protein in a pan with something as simple as a little bit of rice. No, it was beyond that. On the go I began to know more about the gastronomy world and that made me wanted more to get deeper and deeper on it. I learned a lot of stuff, the theory to the practices: spices, condiments, vegetables, proteins, garnish, etc. Late that year I ended it and I finished my high school as well. After that I decided to take no just one course but two.

Basically, both courses have the same structurers, yes, they differ in somethings but isn’t a big deal and I since my point of view in the gastronomy world is better if you learn more every day and when you get very deep on it you will find your own taste to make so many palates fall for you.

I’m still learning and there are some many things in this magic world that I want to know before I become a well-known chef around the globe. And I’m going to do it, that’s for sure.
If you love “la cuisine” as I do, do not hesitate to let a comment below showing me your love for it.
Best regards from Venezuela.
