RESPECT
RESPECT
How can we Respect each other if we do not even respect the one thing God asks us to do. RESPECT HIS NAME.
He said that using His name recklessly is the only thing He will NEVER forgive. Wow!!! Where are we then heading to?
In most of the movies you will always hear His name. Not to praise or worship, but to slander, curse and swear.
Watch a reality show on TV and it is unbelievable how His name is used.
Music is not free of this; I have heard songs (especially Rap) where His name is misused.
Road Rage is another area where people use His name to swear at each other.
So the list goes on – Keep your ears open at work, in school, in shops, at a party, around the barbeque, socialising with friends and at home.
It has become the modern trend to use His name. If only we did it for the right reasons.
Can we change this? Nobody can change the world. But, we can change what is happening around us. Do we all need to act now as Pastors and preach to everybody? No, just show your disapproval. Walk out of the movie, switch of the TV, do not buy the song, and leave a conversation where it is happening.
Those around you will quickly realise that you do not approve, and it will make them think.
Stop supporting the media that allows this, it will make a dent in their sales.
All languages have so many “picture” words, from the most awful to the less colourful. Use them to describe your feelings.
