RE: Short video Dominos Pizza Drone Delivery!!!
I almost feel like a bully, you're so hyped about this ;-)

- There are many players wanting use this for delivery, probably too many to name. But there is only a limited amount of space to fly in, that would mean that if you have a brilliant product to deliver in the future, you may not get a license because all the space is already taken.
(Even though Amazon is looking into this, I don't really see benefits for them. They just load up a truck with 100 packages, it seems a lot cheaper than using a drone. Only for remote location I could see that be beneficial for them.) - There are regions where you are not allowed to fly a drone. Most notably over populated areas in Europe, or near an airport. So, an exception must be made for these drones, giving amateur drone pilots a chance to just fly there as well, who would notice one more drone? Which would mean we need some way to monitor that entire airspace for renegade drones.
- They edited it out of this video, but drones are terribly noisy. Just imagine 20 or 30 drones flying over your head around 18:00, delivering meals. People would very quickly start to complain and file restrictions for their part of the space.
- Not to mention the adverse effect it would have on nature, wildlife and birds in that area.
Or, you could just shoot them out of the sky ;-)
Someone developed a "drone ambulance", where a defibrillator would be delivered to a casualty, and via a comlink a doctor would help you resuscitate (wow, had to look that one up ;-)) the patient.
That is something I think has a chance of being really useful.
While this seems a nice development, I think that's mostly for the companies themselves. For consumers I see no real benefit.
Lol followed you back thanks for your input
