Passion fruit mousse
The passion fruit is a typical Brazilian fruit. The name in Portuguese is “maracujá” that means in the language of the natives “fruit that is eaten in a bowl”. It is used to make dips, sweets and juice. The leafs are used to make tea, which has a very tranquilizing effect.
I will show you here an easy and delicious recipe with this delicious fruit.
Passion fruit mousse
Ingredients:
- 2 cans 7.5 oz media crema (table cream)
- 1 can 14 oz of sweetened condensed milk
- 14 oz passion fruit concentrate or 2 medium sized passion fruit without seed
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth (make sure to scrape down sides and bottom of blender to make sure sweetened condensed milk doesn’t get stuck on the bottom.)
Pour into a bowl, or small individual serving dishes and chill for at least 4-6 hours, but preferably overnight.
If you made the mousse with passion fruit, you can decorate it with the seeds as it is shown in the picture above.
