Sushi is a food that represents culture, habits and as well, define the Japanese and Asian cuisine. The origin of Sushi is quite old but different from what we eat today. Sushi originated as a means of preserving fresh raw meat of the fish to be carried out into the colder months. The fish was cured and left for fermentation covered with rice for eating later. After a few months, the cured fish was eaten while the rice discarded.
