405 LBS. TO 285 LBS. NOW THE JOURNEY TO 225

in #food6 years ago (edited)

I can’t believe I was 405 lbs a few years ago! I had gotten down to 290 ish, but I couldn’t seem to break through that barrier. I ran across a YouTube channel (Brix Fitness) regarding workouts. It was on his channel that I was introduced to intermittent fasting. One of the recommended video was that of Thomas Delauer, where I learned about Ketogenic way of eating. I CALL IT KETOMITTENT DIET

What I have done is combined both and have had fantastic results! I eat low carb healthy fats and proteins between 12:30 pm and 6:30 pm. On the last day of school, May 29, 2018, I weighed 292 pounds. This morning, 88 days later, I weigh 258. I haven’t weighed under 260 pounds since I graduated college. The reason I chose 225 pounds as my next goal is because it’s what I weighed when I graduated high school. I only have 33 pounds to go! At this rate I will make this goal before the year is over!

Congratulations! That's amazing! I have been looking into intermittent fasting because I have been reading a lot of positive things about it as of late. I am excited to follow your journey!

It’s so simple but it goes against everything I have learned about eating. I explain what I have learned in this blog below.

You have done a great job. Keep being an inspiration to others.

You have a minor misspelling in the following sentence:

I can’t beleive I was 405 lbs a few years ago!
It should be believe instead of beleive.

Haha. I got it and it was very funny.
