"Sasad"
Looks like some kind of necklace, doesn't it?! Actually it is a natural yeast made out of rice. This is used traditionally by the Chinese, Kadazan-Dusun, Ibans and others for the making of rice wine - "lihing", "tapai", "米酒" .... kinda like moonshine!!!
The wine is sweet & alcoholic and can be consumed as is or cooked with chicken (drunken chicken "醉鸡"), prawns - (drunken prawns "醉虾" ....yummy!!
