RE: Scientific Shorts: Plant Vs. Animal Protein

Eating more fruit and veg is a good idea; however cutting out meat entirely is not. We don't eat meat by accident; it is because of 2 million years of evolution, ergo certain systems in our bodies will react well to meat.

Though in modern life, we probably eat it too much, once every week or two is probably enough.

I will address your three comments here...

Its a perfect idea. Its the best things you can ever do. In fact most of the developing world eats mostly a vegan diet. Rarely eating meat, eggs or dairy, if at all. I advise you to go watch Cowspiracy to update your thinking to be honest. Eating meat is the leading cause of the devastating negative impact humans have on the wider environment of earth.

Also, the body has no features that make is capable of being a carnivore. It is just the mind that wants to eat it. You can not naturally run after a animal, take it down, and then proceed to tear it to pieces. Ergo (lol), it is simply a mental habit, NOT a unavoidable natural compulsion.

If the idea of '2 million years of evolution' is relevant at all it is just for our bodies to change slightly (really I have only known the changes of my own body). My mind can be changed in an instant. It is wrong to kill life to eat and then excrete the next day. Its pathetic behavior. That is my perception. Plus meat is just plain bad for you. There are better sources of nutrition from real food.
