I only eat this much sugar (half of the soft serve) right before an intense workout. I noticed that, after having been keto adapted for a while (and after trying to work out fasted), my body responded amazingly to a sudden and limited intake of sugary glucose. My workouts last for about 90mins so it’s the perfect quick energy fuel for the task and a great amount to load my muscles with glycogen. Do you carb-cycle around intense workouts? 💪🏼
