Indian Pulao
Pulao is one of my favourite healthy indulges. Indian pulao is made of Rice, pulses and if you want some twist of veggies .
My best food bingeing is eating one full plate of pulao then another plate until my stomach overdraws all the imaginable boundaries. Still pulao is a great option for Breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Ingredients: Rice, any pulses(prefarably legumes or pigeon pea), water , onion, lemon juice, cooking oil,salt, red chilli
- 3/4 cup of rice + 1/4 cup of pulses , soaked in water for 30 min.
2)After that drain the water away.
3)Now take chopped 2 onions , veggies(As per your choice) and fry them in a pan with oil for some time until onions become brownish.
4)Now take the rice in a open vessel and add the mix from the pan and add 1.25 cups of water - Now add lemon juice equal to 1 teaspoon and add salt according to your taste.
6)Now after the rice are cooked , garnish with raw chopped onion , cucumber and curd .
Totally lip-smacking!!!!!
