What is Marriage ceremony?

Marriage is word that keeps equal meaning for rich and poor because for both meaning is same of marriage where boy and girl got tied in a lawful and loving knot, where two family become one, where two thoughts become one mostly. As per capacity rich and poor arrange a ceremony on the day of marriage or days later but why they arrange ceremony for relatives, friends and colleagues?.
However quality, quantity and expence varies according to money capacity of organiser. Some people invites 1000 people for marriage ceremony and some invites few (100 or less) people.

I think there is simple meaning of marriage ceremony and that is greet, eat and bless. Greet and eat are organised by new coupl family and bless is totly depends on greet and eat lol. People first accept the invitation and reach there to greet then they eat after that they blessed to new couple. However all attender gives some gifts that is extra blessed for new couple. According to me people arrange marriage ceremony so that they can make it enjoyful and memorable.

Marriage ceremony is good but the wastage of food after the party keeps big matter. I have seen many times that 30% to 40% foods are wasted out side the ceremony stage and floor too. The organiser can not say anything because he has asked them because they are guests.. In other words marriage ceremony is wastage of food too.
