Yesterday being a public holiday. I was at home. I was surfing the internet and came across "Nigerian seafood pepper soup". I planned to give it a try someday.

Today the rain was heavy in the morning. It is cold and wet over here in Port Harcourt. The seafood market isn't that far from my house so I went to get some fish🦈,shrimps 🦐 and snails🐌 . At the market i was amazed that these things are not that expensive so i bought the what i needed. Everything not even up to €20

When i got home. I got my ingredients ready.

  • Onion bulb
  • Salt
  • Tablespoon of grounded pepper
  • Cameroon 🇨🇲 pepper
  • Seasoning
  • Dry Grounded crayfish
  • Tablespoons of basil leave
  • Medium size Salmon🦈. You can use catfish or tilapia
  • Fresh washed shrimps
  • Ripe plantain

Preparation

  • I cleaned the fresh shrimps, remove the shell and veins-the black line on the backbone. Then set aside.

  • Precooked the snails in salted water for 10 minutes and set aside.

  • Washed the fish thoroughly and cut into
    smaller sizes.

  • I pealed the ripe plantain and cut into smaller sizes to.

Now to prepare the seafood pepper soup

Place the fish pieces into a pot, add enough water to slightly cover the fish, add onions, pepper, seasoning and salt to taste. Parboil for 20minutes.

"All photos was taken using my iPhone 7"... hmmm.... can you tell me what this watermark on your cover image is about then?!?

Maybe you missed the very first point of the whole post on the post. See the third sentence, Compare the picture in the cover with what I made at the end. And tell me what you think dear.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful week

just to clarify, you are saying the cover image with the watermark is the image from the dish you found while surfing the internet? And the rest of the images in the post are yours?

Just in case no one has told you this before, it is definitely best practice on Steem to note the source for any images you don't own yourself. E.g. a link to the online recipe under the picture that isn't your own. That is true in general, but I would say particularly in this case since it was the post cover image and it wasn't your own photo, that would have been a good idea. Your version looks delicious :) Cheers

Awwwn. Noted. Thanks dear. I really appreciate it.

I like the fish, yummy! 😋😋😋
