Hey Steemit! This post is about the amazing health benefits of dates and how it's consumption can help you maintain a healthy lifestyle.

I will teach you how to make sweetener out of this amazing gift of nature but let's take a look at its benefits first.

BENEFITS OF DATES

  • It relieves constipation by supporting regular bowel movement
  • It aids weight loss
  • It promotes heart health, reducing heart disease risk
  • It relieves diarrhea
  • It reduces the risk of iron deficiency (anaemia)
  • It reduces blood pressure
  • It prevents the onset of impotency
  • It promotes respiratory digestive health
    etc

HOW TO MAKE DATES SWEETENER
Now, I said I will show you how to make a sweetener. It is quite simple.

  • Peel the dates and remove the seed in the middle. Do this for all the dates.
  • Soak the dates in water overnight if you are using the dried ones or for a few hours if you are using the fresh ones.
  • Take out from the water and blend well using a little of the water it was soaked in. Don't add too much water.
  • Your dates sweetener is ready. It can be stored in the fridge for weeks. It can be used to sweeten food and drinks.
