Sausage bread in my way.
This is how I make small snacks.
Ingredients:
2 rolls of puff pastry
750 gr minced meat preferably already seasoned.
pizza cutter
patience
For a sausage bread a sausage is rolled from the minced meat and then rolled into puff pastry. A sausage bread is normally large and round.
I did this once but then thought to make little ones. All small rolls.
Rolling in puff pastry was time-consuming and difficult.
The next time I thought why rolled up and not make a square of it.
These are easier to make.
Puff pastry at the bottom and put the minced meat on top. Then on top of that another puff pastry. With a pizza roller I cut the puff pastry into small squares.
This is much easier than rolling up dough with the mince.
Place on a baking tray and bake them in the oven at 180 ° C for about 20 min.
If you have some left , they can be frozen for next time.
