A Little Midnight Snack.
All right y'all. So last night I was in a higher state of mind. I was sitting reading Fingerprints of the Gods by Graham Hancock and I got hungry so I went to the kitchen...
A Toasted Onion Sourdough Grilled Cheese & Turkey Sandwich.
- Your favorite kind of bread used to make a grilled cheese
- Enough of your favorite kind cheese to cover both slices of bread, not too thick, not too thin, to preference.
- A couple slices of your favorite kind of lunch meat
- Some lettuce
- A tomato
- Mustard
- Lemonaise or mayo if you can't get a hold of the other
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- Parsley(Aesthetics only)
Please read through the directions completely before starting. Also, questions are very welcome.
So get the bread and cut the cheese. (If it's a silent but deadly cut of the cheese you might wanna have everyone leave the room.) Turn the oven on broil. Put the bread, and cheese in a baking pan so the bread doesn't dry out while you are making the sandwich. Let the cheese melt and get slightly crunchy until tiny bubbles start to form on top. Put the meat on top and let it cook until you can see the edges curl slightly. Make sure to have the frying pan ready and oiled or buttered. Cook it in the frying pan until it is a nice golden brown. Open the sandwich back up and put on the lettuce and a couple tomato slices, put on the sauces to taste and enjoy.
Potato Cubes Baked with Garlic & Rosemary.
- How ever many potatoes it takes to fill your baking pan
- A branch or two of fresh rosemary
- A head of fresh garlic, peeled or not (Diced if it is peeled or whole and unpeeled if you want to have little juicy garlic bites.)
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Cut the potatoes to size put them in the pan pour coconut or some other good quality oil. Cut up the garlic and rosemary and mix it all until it looks mixed in your opinion. Put it into your baking pan and back at 350 degrees until it smells good and the largest chunks of potato are soft. Take out let cool and enjoy.
Tomato Soup Dip.
- One can of tomato paste
- 2 to 4 cans of water the size of the can of tomato paste
- Cumin to taste
- Spicy chili powder to taste
- Italian herb blend to taste
- Salt/pepper to taste
- Cheese to taste
- Parsley(aesthetics only)
Put all the ingredients into a pan and let boil. Put cheese in last. Let cool and enjoy.
High Quality Hot Dogs
- 2 hot dogs
- Ketchup
- Mustard
Cut 45 degree angle slices all along 2 or 3 sides of the hot dogs. Cook until you are satisfied. Remove from heat, dip in sauce and enjoy.

A Handful of My Moms Queso Blanco.
- (Its a secret recipe... that my mom tells everybody!)
Well I hope y'all enjoy this steeming plate of goodness as much as I did!
Wow, this looks super tasty, I love it! Beautiful display of food and Steemit art. I like the humor too, and how the ingredients are more vague leaving out the worry about having to measure. Lol. Lot's of variety. Can't wait to try it!
It is. Let me know if you have any questions.
