Litti- It is your grand welcome to taste the food of Bihar India, in all its ghee(clarified butter)-dripping glory. It consists of wheat and sattu(gram flour) with spices, kneaded into round spicy balls, dipped in ghee. The texture of Litti along with the crunchy crust makes it a foodie’s delight. Chokha is prepared by mashing boiled vegetables (most common being potatoes, brinjal, tomatoes), adding spices and chopped onion, garlic etc. and served with Litti as a complimentary delicacy.

Jalebi- Jalebi is a very common and popular sweet in India. Jalebi is a syrupy sweet that is shaped liked a slightly large, chaotic pretzel and is traditionally prepared in India. A well-made Jalebi has a tart element with a sweet taste. Jalebi is a hot favourite on any special occasion be it a wedding, festival or birthday. Jalebi is a deep fried sweet made from maida(fine wheat flour) and then soaked in sugar syrup. It is bright orange or yellow in colour. It can be served warm or cold and has a somewhat chewy texture with crystallized sugary exterior coating.

Samosa- Samosa is a deep fried conical shaped pasty. The pastry is filled with spiced vegetables. The Samosa was called Qutab (Sanbusah). The recipe is documented in Ain-I-Akbar. The Samosa filled with spiced potatoes and green peas. During British Raj, Samosa was sold at Lahore railway station, from there it gained popularity all over India. Every railway station had the hawkers selling Samosa and Garam Chai (Hot Tea).

Pani puri- Pani puri is a popular street snack in India. It consists of tiny round hallow crispy ball, filled with a delicious chaat mixture consisting of chickpeas and some other ingredients. Then flavored water (pani) is poured over the entire thing,to make a delicious explosion of flavours in each mouthful.

Dosa- Dosa is a South Indian dish, which became popular all over india. fermented crepe made from rice batter and black lentils. Masala Dosa, specifically, is when you stuff it with a lightly cooked filling of potatoes, cheese, fried onions and spices and fried into ghee(clarified butter) to make its aromatic flavor more delicious.
