Everyone seems to know what a fish is but not everyone knows how nutritious it actually is, and even more interesting and nutritious is a grilled fish. Most people who eat fish are quite aware that it is loaded with protein and low in fatty acids, little do they know that fish is parked with a lots more than protein.

Fish helps with the function of the brain. It assists the brain with functional development and growth while boosting heart performance by lowering blood pressure. This is as a result of the presence of Omega-3 fatty acids that can be found on them. In fact, the American Heart Association recommends that eating two servings of fish per-week is a part of heart healthy diet.

So let us talk about a few healthy benefits of eating fish.

Contains Crucial Nutrients for Development
As stated in the preceding paragraph, Omega-3 fatty acids have been linked to brain development, it has also been linked to the eye development too; due to the presence of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA).

Pregnant women and Lactating mothers are advised to eat enough omega-3 fatty acids which are often found in fish.

Help prevent and treat Depression
Research has shown that Omega-3 fatty acids has been effective as an antidepressant medication and has been effective in fighting depression.

The United States library of medicine in their article oxidative medicine and cellular longevity claims that people who eat fish regularly are much less likely to be depressed.

Depression has gradually become a world epidemic which has been redundantly tackled even by most world governments, groups and physicians. We can do ourselves good by eating fish regularly.

Another angle to the importance of eating fish could be seen on how fish aid in tackling mental problems. According to a study by the psychiatry department in the faculty of medicine of Melbourne University, Australia in 2012; studies show that omega-3 fatty acids found in fish may be resourceful treatment for mental illness resulting from bipolar disorders.

Fish and fish products are a high source of vitamin D and salmon happens to be the highest fish to contain vitamin D.
Sun light is a very good sources of vitamin D and some fish oil such as cod liver oil. Those who can’t get enough sun light are advised to get fish for vitamin D.

We see how important fish can be to human health and development. If we eat fish every week we have higher chances of a healthy life. Eating fish is a healthy life style we can adopt to stay healthy, most especially grilled fish, the advantages of open fire cannot be over emphasized.

I hope that @purepunay who is in this niche find this interesting.
