To make this delicious chicken marmita (what literally means pan, so a stew in a pan instead of a tajine) you will need 2 carrots, peas, beans, 2 onions, 6 potatoes, some chicken and of course spices. The spices that used for this dish are grounded cumin, paprika powder, turmeric, mixture of dried garlic and pepper, a little bit of chicken spices, dried coriander leaves and two stock cubes.

Start with cutting the chicken in small pieces and season the chicken with chicken spices. Peel the potatoes and dice them, cook the potatoes till you can put a fork through the potato, without force (this is about 15 till 20 minutes after the water boils). Peel and cut the onions and carrots. Start cooking the onions, after a couple of minutes add the chicken and bake all sides of the chicken. Now add the carrots, peas green beans and all the spices including the 2 stock cubes. Now cook about 500 ml to 700 ml of water and pour the cooked water in the pan. Stir everything well and add the potatoes, now put the lid on the pan and put the heat low and let it simmer for about 20 to 30 minutes and the chicken marmita is ready. Delicious to eat it with bread. Just dip the bread and use it instead of a fork or spoon.
