I'm from SnorCity (aka Pretoria)... I do get to make my way down to CPT occasionally... maybe our paths will cross for real one day.

It's very plausible actually... my admin was terrible (ok, it still is a little, but I'm a lot better now)... I can totally believe that if you were waiting for me to write an article or send pics, that I may have missed a deadline :-(
Like I said, I have gotten better over the years.
Re SA Culture: Yeah... Need to spread the word that it's called a BRAAI and not a BBQ... OK, we have a few other unique characteristics too, but we need to start somewhere, right?

As for the rest, yes... I think starting with the BRAAI is the best Idea... It is laughable how many people have seen pics of our braais that I have shared here on Steemit (at flame stage) and have said things like "how can you cook your food on that, its going to set it on fire!
We need to help these people! hehehe :)
