** RECIPE OF TUESDAY **

in #food7 years ago

My favorite steemit, how are they? Today I bring you the recipe for Tuesday, very exquisite is worth telling you. (sorry the delay the internet has not let me work a lot)
Today, we have to change! From time to time a well-organized lunch (without extravagances) is much needed. Well, here it is! best of all is that besides being delicious, it's very easy to make!

MENU:

Avocado cream soup
Drunk chicken with fruits

AVOCADO CREAM SOUP

Ingredients
1 tablespoon butter.
• ½ tablespoon curry powder
• 2 cups of chicken broth (can be canned or packaged dehydrated and reconstituted)
• 6 egg yolks
• 1 avocado peeled and seedless.
• Salt and pepper to taste
• ½ cup of milk.
• 1 cup of light milk cream (can be evaporated milk)

Preparation
Approximately ½ hour before serving, melt the butter in a saucepan, add the curry powder, cook a couple of minutes, stirring, and add the broth. Continue cooking until it starts to boil. Then, add the cream. When boiling again, reduce the temperature to a minimum, take a cup of the mixture and pour it into the blender. Add the avocado in cubes and blend briefly. Add the yolks, liquefy again and then incorporate the rest of the avocado and a little more broth. Blend until a smooth cream is left. Pass this cream to the saucepan and mix well with its contents. Continue the cooking at a very low temperature, without letting it boil, until a very thick cream forms, add the salt and pepper to taste and serve immediately, with fresh avocado in pieces

DRIED CHICKEN WITH FRUIT

Ingredients:

2 large chickens cut in dams.
• Salt and black pepper freshly ground to taste.
• 1 tablespoon dried ground basil.
• 1 tablespoon ground dry thyme.
• 1 cup of olives stuffed with peppers or almonds.
• 2 cups prunes without seeds.
• 1 medium chopped onion.
• 4 minced garlic cloves.
• 2 large ripe tomatoes.
• 2 large ripe bananas
• 3 cups of semi sweet sherry wine.
• 4 cups of rum (white or dark)
• ½ kilo of butter
.

Preparation

Season the chicken with salt and spices, rubbing it well. In a large saucepan, heat the butter and brown the chicken. Go putting it aside. When finished, discard the butter that I use and put the chicken in the saucepan, mixing it well with the olives, prunes, onion and garlic. Drink it all with wine and rum. Cook it, covered, over moderate heat, for an hour and a half or until the chicken is tender. Rectify the point of salt and pepper. Add the tomatoes cut into wedges and the bananas cut into pieces. Cook for 15 more minutes and serve.

I hope you try and enjoy it, easy and rich.
Bon Appetite.
