On Saturday I got to enjoy the most DELICIOUS dinner with my husband and some friends at the Awards Gala 2017.
My husbands' company that he works for which is Boyd Autobody and Glass has been nominated for Penticton business excellence of the year, so we have been invited to the Penticton Chamber Business Excellence Awards Gala. Boyd Autobody and Glass has been the winner of Best Business of the Year for last two years, so we had a good chance of winning it again this year.
This was my and my husbands first time to get invited to Awards Gala, so we didn't really know what to expect. As soon as we arrived there, the service was outstanding. We were served with champagne at the doors where most of the people gathered and chatted before going to be sited at the tables which took at least 30 minutes or more, so everyone was enjoying more than a few champagne glasses.
As soon as we were sited we were served a delicious Ceasar salad, which I actually did not take pictures of. Of course, there were few bottles of wine and the drinks were paid by the owner of the company.
Few minutes after salad we were served the most delicious dinner dish, which I really was not expecting. I don't think we had the chance to enjoy food like this before at any restaurants. We were amazed how delicious and beautiful these dishes were.
Mashed potatoes made into round ball shape, rolled in breadcrumbs. Super tasty fresh and crunchy asparagus and some cherry tomatoes and chicken breast with some delicious sauce and herbs on top, which was absolutely outstanding.
This is our desert, which also was outstanding since it was cheesecake (my favorite)with some lime taste. On the side, some whipped cream with fresh peppermint on top to spice some things up and the fruit sauce with organic, fresh raspberries and blueberries. YUMMY!!!

Unfortunately we did not get to win the Business of the Year this time, but we all had amazing time spent.
Afterwards, the dinner we had great DJ Haymaker providing us with some great music and more fun dancing till the night was over. It was a great Saturday night.
Have you ever enjoyed delicious dining that really stood out to you and will remember? Love to hear from you. Like I said, I had some really good dining experiences in restaurants before, but nothing like this. So this was a WOW factor for me and my husband.
