California Abalone Season Closure

Here’s my last bowl of abalone soup for a long time since CA will be closing abalone harvest season for many many years to come.

For unknown reasons the red abalone population has drastically declined. Could be over harvesting or maybe global warming or other reasons. Whatever it is, it will be missed.
