Shrimps in sweet and sour sauce
Shrimp, pineapple, bell pepper and ginger, dressed with soy sauce. You can serve with rice or with noodles.
1 red bell pepper
2 tomatoes
250 g canned pineapple
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tbsp. starch
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 clove of garlic
2 cm root of ginger
300 g of peeled shrimp
Bulgarian peppers are cut lengthwise, remove the seeds and cut into strips. Cut the tomatoes into cubes. Garlic, ginger clean and cut very finely (or grate on a fine grater). From the pineapple can drain the juice, it will be needed for the sauce.
In vegetable oil fry garlic and ginger (30 seconds), add the Bulgarian pepper and tomatoes, simmer for 5 minutes. Add the pineapple, continue to stew for 2 more minutes. Remove from heat.
Mix the soy sauce, pineapple juice and starch.
In a separate frying pan, fry the shrimps in 1 tbsp. of vegetable oil, add soya-pineapple sauce and bring to a boil. Remove from heat.
When serving on the table, combine shrimp with pineapple.
