Spicy beefy spaghetti 🍝
Good morning steemians!!!
This is a good news for those that have either left over white pasta or left over beef without stew in the pot. So I tried this recipe yesterday night and oh my! It was so yummy and 😋!!! And I will love to share my recipe of spicy beefy spaghetti......... Oh, thinking of it makes me salivate.............
Ingredients serving for three Adults
A whole pasta
2 tablespoons of Tomato puree
1 teaspoon of Cameroun pepper(it gives it the hotness required)
2cubes of Knorr chicken
1 teaspoon of salt
Stewed diced beef
1 small green pepper
2medium onion, finely chopped
Grated nutmeg
A handful of Mint leaf(Yorubas call it Efirin), this is for garnishing.
Free cholesterol cooking oil
PROCEDURES
- Bring your pasta to boil, cook it for 10 mins. There should be enough water to cover up the pasta so it doesn't melt together, drain out the water by pouring it in a sieve
If u have left over white pasta, good news for you, because you will just have to go ahead to step 2. And also if u have left over beef in your pot of stew, then you could just dice them up. - In the same pot used for the boiling of the pasta, from which it was drained, put the pot back on heat, but now on low heat. Add your free cholesterol cooking oil, preferably extra-virgin olive oil. Add your finely chopped onion, stir fry for few minutes, then add your tomato puree, the chilly cameroun pepper, fresh pepper, with just about 5tablespoons of water to allow them cook, so it doesn't taste raw.
Add in all the seasonings...... Cover it up for 3mins. - At this stage what should be left out of the pot are: the pasta, stewed diced beef and the mint leaf. The pasta goes into the pot, and no water should be added, stir it together, add the diced beef into it, and cover it up for 2mins, after you might have given it a thorough stir, so all the ingredients incorporate into the pasta, and also it should be on lowest heat.
- Bring it down from the heat and add your chopped mint leaves to it, stir it and serve...... Your spicy beefy spaghetti is ready to eat...
The preparation time and cooking time shouldn't take more than 30-45 minutes.
Enjoy!!!
