EAT CURRY CHANGE LIVES
There is only one thing better than enjoying an Indian meal – enjoying an Indian meal while raising funds for a worthy cause while you’re at it.
I’m talking here about Curry for Change 2016, which launches today. With a reported one in nine people around the world going to bed hungry each night, UK-based charity Find Your Feet created the campaign. Now in it’s fourth year, the campaign has attracted the support of UK’s leading chefs, Supper Club hosts and food writers. Yours truly included.
The idea is simple. If you love throwing dinner parties, host an Indian-inspired dinner party or Supper Club using a free Curry for Change event pack. By simply signing up at here aspiring cooks can receive all the essentials to invite friends, family or co-workers for a spicy night in. The kit includes exclusive recipes from campaign ambassadors, top cooking tips and a packet of Natco spices.
If you’re a seasoned Supper Club host, then thanks to campaign sponsors, you will also receive a crate of Kingfisher Beer, a bespoke hamper of Natco ingredients, and discounted listings on Tabl.com and GrubClub.com, to help them host a dinner with a difference. After guests have enjoyed their evening of fantastic food and great company they are invited to donate what they’d usually spend on a take-away towards the charity’s worthy causes in Africa and India, and every penny raised will be matched by Natco.
If you’re in the UK and not into cooking, go and do some eating at events being hosted by the following:

A number of partner restaurants across London and beyond, such the renowned Cinnamon Club and Benares, have created special dishes in honour of Curry for Change or offered their guests the chance to make a donation with their bill. More restaurants are added each month, so don’t forget to check the website to see where you can dine out and change lives!
I know I’ll be doing enjoying a curry for change this year. Will you?
