My visit to the World's Largest Tropical Fruit Farm 🥑

Hello! I still traveller around Australia with my husband and little daughter. 

We visiteted amazing place in Gold Coast - Tweed:

Tropical Fruit World - world's largest selection of tropical fruits in one location.

We took a tractor train ride to orchard and jungle boat cruise. 

Learned the secret of fruit I have never tasted before.

I would like to tell you about a fruit that is particularly interesting to me and is great in a vegetarian and vegan diet. 

Do you know jackfruit? 

This is the largest tropical fruit weighing as much 50 kg and growing to a lenght of one metre. 

Immature is a vegetable and a ripe is a fruit. Fried green fackfruit has a taste and texture of meat. Check out my recipe of tapioca pancakes with jackfruit. You can also cook into a mild curry. 

Eaten when soft and ripe, jackfruit has an aromatic, sweet flesh which tastes like banana and custard. 

Seeds, about 150 of them, taste a bit like chestnuts once they roasted. 

We also visited plantations of many types of bananas. It is wonderful to eat a ripe banana directly from the tree.

Eat banana's 🍌  🍌  🍌 

1. Be happy - bananas are not only a source of energy and nutrition, they contain a mood enhancer called tryptophan.
2. Calm down - bananas are high in B vitamins, which help control of nervous system.
3. Reduce stress - bananas are high in potassium and magnesium making them good to control blood pressure and stress level.
