Minerals play a main role in our health. Deficiency of minerals cause many diseases in human body. Do in this post I will introduce you with some minerals that necessary for our health maintenance.

Here are some minerals that important for human health.

Calcium.

  • Formations of bone and teeth.
  • Neourone and muscle functioning.
  • Blood clotting.

Sodium.

  • Contributes yo ostmetic pressure of body fluids.
  • Nerve impels transmission and muscle contraction.
  • Part of bicarbonate buffer system.

Phosphorus.

  • Formation of bones and teeth.
  • Part of DNA,RNA, and ATP
  • Part of phosphate buffer system.

Iron.

  • Part of hemoglobin an myoglobin.
  • Part of some sytochromes in cell respiration.

Chlorine.

  • Contribute to cosmetic pressure of body fluid.
  • Part of HCL in gastric juice.

Potassium.

  • Contribute to the ostmetic pressure of body fluid.
  • Nerve impulse transmission and muscle contraction.

Sulfur.

  • Part of some amino acids.
  • Part of thiamin and biotin.
  • Source: egg and meat.

Iodine.

  • Part of thyroxine and T3.
  • Source: sea foods.

Copper.

  • Syenthesis of hemoglobin.
  • Part of some cytochrome in cell respiration.
  • Synthesis of melanin.

Cobalt.

  • Part of vitamin B12.
  • Source: liver, meat, fish.

Zinc.

  • Part of carbonicanhydrates needed for co2 transport.
  • Necessary for normal taste sensation.
  • Involved in wound healing.
