The cakes of Koreans are processed fussy, meticulous, always focused furnished dishes aesthetic high, and critical of the strudel is delicious, eat once you can be "in love".

Maejakgwa
As a pastry with salt, ginger juice and thinly sliced iron, cut a line in the middle and then roll up. This cake is fried in oil, wrapped in sugar and sprinkled with pine nuts cinnamon powder. The name maejakgwa is derived from the shape similar to the sparrow (jak) in the maehwa tree.


Yakgwa
A dough made with dough, sesame oil, honey and pure alcohol. The cake is pressed into a square shape, or thinned and cut into square pieces. They are then fried in oil and dipped in honey. This is the most delicious and delicious Korean cakes, made for festivals, parties or ceremonies.


Dasik
A type of biscuits made from dried roasted grains, oriental herbs or pollen with honey. The dough was pressed into a dasik with bird, flower or Chinese characters. Dasik has a unique flavor in harmony with the sweetness of honey and other ingredients. Cakes are called 'dasik', meaning tea and food, as they are often served with tea.


Gyeongdan
A kind of rice dumplings made from sticky rice with hot water, squeezed into round balls and then boiled and covered with a layer of sweet powder from many different materials. The name of this cake is because it is shaped like a round jade (gyeongdan).


Jeungpyeon
A kind of rice cakes made from rice dough and rice wine, decorated with jujube, chestnuts, pine nuts and mushrooms, then steamed in the pan. Jeungpyeon is a kind of cake suitable for summer because it is fermented with alcohol so long it is thiu. It has a very unique, slightly sour taste and is quite soft.


Songpyeon
A kind of rice cakes made from rice flour with warm water and green beans, sesame seeds, chestnuts and other ingredients, molded into a semicircle and then steamed. Songpyeon is used for Chuseok (Mid-Autumn Festival or Thanksgiving), the biggest holiday in Korea. On the night of Chuseok, the whole family will gather together to make the songpyeon. Everybody tries to make the best buns because they believe that if they make beautiful buns, they will have a pretty daughter.


Hobaktteok
A kind of cake made from rice flour with steamed pumpkin. Tteok is rice recipes and a long history in Korea. It is served as a main dish instead of rice, or a special dish for occasions and birthdays. There are many types of tteok with different main materials.

Bindaetteok
It is a sweet and sour pancake dish made from green peas, meat, vegetables and kimchi. It is often used instead of fried meat during meals. Later on, it became a good food for binja (the poor), so it was called 'binjatteok' (the bread of the poor).


Baekseolgi
Baek means white, seol is snow and gi is rice cake. Baekseolgi is therefore understood to be white and porous rice cakes. Baekseolgi steamed rice cake was not the usual food, which can only be enjoyed during holidays, fairs, festivals or celebrations. As Baekseolgi steamed rice cake is white, so this is typical dishes and symbol of good health.


Yaksik
It is made of sticky rice with honey, soy sauce, apple, chestnut and pine nuts. It is also called yakbap.
