The boundaries of culinary arts has pushed by the products from the genius of chefs. In Design with food, food is designed to be an edible product, from production to consumption, but not designed for mass production. In Design with food, transportation is not the main consideration for where the food is made and where the place to eat. Consumer may buy and eat it directly where the food is produced or he may also take it home.

我們發現來自廚師天才的所有產品都是推動烹飪藝術的界限。 再次在食品設計中,產品是可食用的,但這一次它們不是設計用於批量生產的,而是設計製作,不久之後就可以食用。 讓我們來說,在食品設計中,食物所在的地方和消費的地方之間沒有交通工具,但是可能有客戶直接在這裡購買這種食物,並將其帶回家吃了它。

Design with food — Food is used as the element and material to design. To pass an idea or message to consumers, or changing the appearance of food, color, taste to increase the senses of feelings, we can call all these kinds of food design works as "Design With Food".

用食物來設計 — 以食物作為設計的元素與素材。透過製作的食物去把想法或訊息傳遞給消費者。或是經過改變食物的口感,外形、顏色、味道等而增加消費者的五感體驗,這類的食物設計作品我們會歸納於「用食物來設計 — Design With Food」。

The flavors of the dishes, the colors of the wobble, the different mixture of various ingredients, the reminiscent of a childhood memory, or whether it is an adventure in a foreign country, or even arousing the memory of someone ... each kind of food, just like tasting the up and down of life, by time changing it recorded you steps and also giving you new inspiration.

菜餚的味道,擺盤的顏色,各種香料配搭和混合的食材,讓人聯想到童年記憶,或者是在國外的冒險和旅遊,甚至喚起你某段記憶...每種食物料理,就像品嚐生活中不同的變化,隨著時間的推移,它記錄著你的步伐,也給了你新的靈感。


"Design With Food" Restaurant: Dessert Atum

I would like to introduce a restaurant that it is design with food! It is a dessert restaurant in Hong Kong called Dessert Atum.
Dessert Atum is a innovative dessert restaurant that opened in 2014. The name of "Atum" is a Latin, meaning of creations.

我想介紹一個餐廳是用食物來設計的! 這是香港的甜點餐廳,Dessert Atum。
Dessert Atum是一個創新的甜點餐廳,於2014年開業。“Atum”的名字是拉丁語,意思是創作。

This is the signature dish of the restaurant, Improvisation.
Improvisation is a dessert served as a painting. "Artist" will paint and create your dessert, each of the dessert is special and unique.

這是餐廳的招牌菜 — Improvisation。
Improvisation 是一種作為繪畫的甜點。 “藝術家”將繪製和在你面前創造甜點,每個甜點是唯一和獨特的。

Design With Food

The dessert — Improvisation, is created instantly in front of the consumers, included the molecular ice cream.
Improvisation is a dessert that had achieved the 5 senses.
Watch the making progress, listen to the artist's explanation of each dishes, smell the sweetness of the pastry, feel the temperature of liquid nitrogen, and of course have a taste of the dessert!

甜點— Improvisation 會在客人面前製作,包括分子雪糕。
Improvisation 是實現了5種感官體驗的甜點。
看到甜品的製作過程,聽著專業的講解,伴著甜甜的香氣,感受液氮的冰冷溫度,當然還有品嚐甜點的味道!

The dessert is innovative and created with pleasantly surprised taste.
The Molecular ice cream is the main character of the dessert and decorated with various kind of snacks. Like Pop rocks, Dark Chocolate, Yuzi cream, Cinnamon Cream, Cranberries, Crispy Oat, Crispy Caramel, Matcha Mousse, Green Tea mochi, Eggwhite Cake...etc.

甜點是創新的,而且味道令人驚喜。
分子冰淇淋是甜點的主角,隨碟裝飾著各種小吃。
爆炸糖、蛋白糖霜、黑炭朱古力、柚子忌廉、紅莓乾、燕麥脆脆、焦糖脆脆、肉桂奶油、抹茶慕絲、抹茶麻糬、蛋白脆餅


Dessert Atum is a restaurant combined food and user experience at the same time. This is not a restaurant only for having desserts but also leaving you unforgotten memories. ❤️

Dessert Atum 是一間結合食物和用戶體驗的餐廳。 餐廳不是只用來吃甜品的,也讓你留下回憶。❤️

Wow, that's awesome. I loved the idea that you get two experiences for the price of one. We have something like that in my country, but ours does not involve ice cream, but rather fish. Great post
