THE FIRST ITALIAN FOCACCIA ON STEEMIT!!

We are going to Make ITALIAN FOCACCIA
Easy to make and with cheap products.
Focaccia it's a lovely bit of bread, thick flatbread, spongy and absolutely soulful.
There are a lot of flavours and things you can use insideof your focaccia like onions,cheese,potatoes,rosemary,thyme,mushroom and garlic
Today I am goona make what most of Italian people love.
FOCACCIA WITH POMODORINI(little tomatoes)
INGREDIENTS
-500g of Strong flour
-350ml of war water
-7g of baking yeast
-salt q.n.
-oil q.n.
-San marzano tomatoes
-Baking tray
-plastic bowl to mix the ingredient
-italian herbs
FIRST STEP
Prepare your bowl with 500g of strong flour and 350ml of water
Inside of the warm water put 7g of yeast and stir until the yeast dissolves
Now put the water with yeast inside the bowl with the flour, add a little bit of salt and a little bit of oil and with a spoon start mixing all togheter until it becomes like this
SECOND STEP
At this point you have to prepare on your table some flour and transfer the dough on it
Now you have to work the dough.
Just repaet this movement-pull it back and pull it away- some movement as pizza
You want to stretch the gluten and you want to make it elastic to build up that kind of rubber band-like texture, the reason yoy want it to be like that is as the yeast produces air,you don't want it to escape for the dought so all the gas stays inside the bread.
After 10-15 minutes working the dough you will have this
THIRD STEP
Now we have to prove the dough.
We want to create some humidity so just put the bowl over and we are going to let it prove for 45 minutes and the dough should double in size.
FOURTH STEP
After 45 minutes your dough will look like this one
Prepare your tray will some oil inside and put the dough inside it
Add some oil and massage it into the dought
Add the tomatoes and a little bit of salt on top
FIFTH STEP
Now we have to prove for the last time the dough for 45 minutes
Put a wet cloth on top of the tray to create humidity; doing this it will be crispy on the ouside and spongy in the inside...BEAUTIFUL
The dough will double in size again and it will be ready to be cooked.
SIXTH STEP
Ok...The last step
The Dough is ready to be cooked as it double in size
The last thing to do is to put a little bif of herbs on top(if you like them), I used chopped rosemary,thyme and bayleaves
Reheat the oven at 200 centigrades or 400 farenheit
Put the tray inside and let it cook for 20-25 minutes
And then you are going to have the beautiful FOCACCIA.

This is the Final Result
A crispy outside and spongy inside home-made italian focaccia
As soon as it comes out from the oven put oil on top because focaccia needs it
Focaccia is a tradition type of bread from Italy and it can be a different choice instead of eating the normal bread.
